While I have baked something delicious lately, I will post about the chocolate-peanut-butter-Resee's-cupcakes-of-deliciousness later.  By the way....happy birthday SHOUT OUT to Raluca, Emily, Edgybeth, and Jen.  There have been on obscene number of birthdays in the fast few days.  Am I complaining?  Not at all.

So this post isn't about cupcakes, nor yummy bread, nor chocolate, nor turkey a la king - bear with me on the a la king, I've felt spaced out for the past few days, people.

This post is about my cousin.  It's about how awesome she is, funny she is, level-headed yet teenage-y, down to earth she is, truthful she is, and how proud I am of her.  It's about how she's the closest thing I have to a sister and how much I love her.  Even though she is six years younger than me, she is wise.  And though she is wise, she speaks her mind with frankness and fervor.  And she has a wonderful mind that can think pretty damn well.  She is motivating, inspiring, and a hard-worker.  Actually, she is one of the hardest workers I have ever known.  She lives and loves with a passion and has this infectious zest for life.

So, Marianne, I am honored to be your cousin, confidante, fellow giggly-gossiper, pseudo-sistah, and friend.  I love learning from you, and I hope I have taught you some important things, as well.  You rock, girlfriend.
